Dr. Loretta Jones-Gafford is professor emeriti at Lynchburg College (LC) in Lynchburg, VA, where she was applauded for her excellence in teaching. She holds a B.S. degree in psychology from LC and M.Ed. and Ed.S. degrees from James Madison University in school psychology with minor concentrations in special education and counseling. Her doctorate in education from the University of Virginia highlights a major focus in school psychology with sub-specialties in infant and family intervention and counseling. Dr. Jones-Gafford has 23+ years of higher education experience, including 4 years as dean of LC’s School of Education and Human Development. Most recently she has been recruited to join the national staff of Perspectives on the World Christian Movement as lead administrator of the newly formed Instructor Development Department.
